Only the following users can be selected for assignee: Type in the Assignee field to filter and select a user.In the Assignee section, enable Assignee authentication (enabled by default). Open the action in the configuration panel. If disabled, the assignee does not need to sign into Nintex Workflow Cloud to access the form. If Assignee Authentication is enabled, the assignee will have to sign in to Nintex Workflow Cloud to access the form and complete the task. Currently, you can only connect to Azure Active Directory to assign tasks to users in your directory.For more information, see User Management. The prerequisite to user directory lookup is to configure Identity federation. User directory lookup configuration is recommended for assignee authentication.For more information, see Enable Assignee authentication for form-based task type. You can configure the action to ensure the assignee must sign in to Nintex Workflow Cloud to access the form. ![]() The task recipient can apply an outcome through: For example, "Done" when you just want confirmation of completion or "Approve" and "Reject" when you want a reviewer response to determine future workflow logic. If you select a form-based task option, then the email includes a link to a task form.
